There are so many beautiful qualities about Amy Bock's artwork it would be great if it were possible to post all of her work right here. One of the things about her work that will immediately catch your eye is her masterful use of color; another is the wonderful sense of movement throughout each piece. You might see a bit of Vincent Van Gogh as an influence in some of her canvas work but Amy has a style that is indisputably her own.

Amy has only recently launched her Facebook page where she exhibits her paintings and illustrations. Hopefully in the near future we'll see more of the artwork she categorizes as "Progressions", displayed somewhere on her Facebook page too (pictured above). The "Progressions" pieces are fascinating and are constructed of various medium such as oil stick and graphite, house paint and cut paper.

Amy Bock's background is as interesting and colorful as her artwork. She is a designer, illustrator and fine artist working out of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Amy received her formal art training at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, graduating with a B.F.A. in drawing and painting. After graduation she pursued her interest in the theater by creating scenic design, mask making and set painting - often creating large paintings for backdrops. Amy's talents as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator have been called upon by Graphic Arts Monthly, Interior Design Magazine, Allure, American Baby and Modern Bride Magazine, to name a few.
