The Exquisite Artwork of Daniel Lim on Facebook

What is it about Daniel Lim’s portraits that draw you in the way they do? Is it the big, gazing eyes, the flowing lines, the soft yet captivating colors?

Artist Daniel Lim seems to effortlessly capture beauty and innocence within the borders of his canvases. Each of his pieces speaks with their own gentle voice that whisper feelings of hope and serenity. Daniel is an artist who adds beauty to the world which is often times more difficult than creating work that depicts the hardships and adversities of life. By creating such beauty Daniel actually provides hope to those who have experienced suffering. And although his audience might not find specific answers hidden deep within the pigments of his canvases, they will indeed find shelter within its splendor – if even for a moment.

Daniel is an illustration graduate of Art Center College of Art and Design and holds a MFA from the School of Visual Arts. A few of his clients have been, The New York Times, Electronic Gaming Monthly, MTV, UrbanOutfitters, Saatchi + Saatchi, Guess Jeans, Boston Monthly, LAWeekly, and more. Some exhibitions coming up for Daniel are Ronin Galleries Inaugural show, followed by Giant Robot's Tree show and Gallery Nucleus' Sweet Streets 2. You might already be familiar with Daniel’s work from his April, 2010, interview with Juxtapoz.
